The sweet potato dessert café, “Imoya Imoko WITH HARAJUKU”, opened on May 23rd. The concept of this café is “A precious sweet potato café for sweet potato lovers, where you can enjoy aged baked sweet potatoes and sweet potato desserts all year round.”
The store, located on the second floor of “WITH HARAJUKU” in front of JR Harajuku Station, can be found by going up the escalator and moving towards the back. Despite it being a weekday, there are a significant number of customers seated. Due to its location in a tourist spot, the clientele is very diverse internationally.
When it comes time to order at the counter, every item on the menu looks delicious. Everything is so appealing that we can’t make an immediate decision.
For this visit, we ordered the ‘Sweet Potato Mont Blanc Soft Serve’. As the cafe just opened, they also served two complimentary sweet potato chips to accompany the dish. The sweet taste of the potato and ice cream was delightful, and the visually appealing presentation was perfect for social media posts. we found ourself already thinking about what to order on our next visit to this enticing dessert cafe.
