Morinaga Seika will hold a large-scale sampling event, “CHOCO MONAKA JUMBO Tasting Event vol.2,” on March 29 and 30 at Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo, as a promotional campaign targeting inbound tourists. The event will take place in front of Hozomon Gate at Sensoji Temple. 12,500 ice creams will be distributed each day, starting at 10:30 a.m., and will end once supplies run out.

This video won the Excellence Award in the “Movie (Video)” category at the CJPF Awards 2025.
To commemorate this award, the company will increase the number of samples distributed by 25% compared to last year and will distribute 25,000 Choco Monaka Jumbo ice creams free of charge over two days at Sensoji Temple, allowing even more international visitors to enjoy the treat.
When stacked, 25,000 Choco Monaka Jumbo ice creams—each about 3 centimeters thick—would reach approximately 750 meters in height, surpassing the height of two Tokyo Towers (666 meters).
