The Sakura Afternoon Tea features an array of delicate creations themed around cherry blossoms, crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Tai Cheng Lin. Five elegant pink-toned sweets will be served. The “Sakura Azuki Roll Cake” delicately combines sponge cake, fresh cream, and sweet red beans. The “Sakura Coconut Miso Verrine” offers a layered experience of cherry blossom jelly, rich coconut miso panna cotta, and refreshing coconut jelly.

The “Shiso Yuzu Sablé” is Chef Tai’s homage to traditional Japanese flavors. It features a refreshing yuzu curd delicately wrapped in shiso chantilly, and is elegantly garnished with lemon balm leaves and gold leaf.
Also featured are the “Sakura Raspberry Mont Blanc” and the “Sakura Tea Shortcake,” both creatively inspired by delicate spring blossoms. The afternoon tea is served with three varieties of The Grand Lobby’s signature house-made scones—original, raisin, and savory—accompanied by clotted cream and rose petal jam.
After indulging in the delicate sweets, guests can enjoy savory dishes infused with Japanese essence. Highlights include a crab salad tart with tobiko, beef teriyaki inari sushi, and salmon avocado rolls—creative takes on popular sushi styles. The menu also features the chef’s original tamagoyaki sandwich, a unique twist on the traditional Japanese rolled omelette.
