The “Setouchi Lemon Cake” is a mousse cake that blends the tartness of Setouchi lemons with the sweet and tangy flavor of yogurt. It’s topped with a sauce made from Setouchi-grown lemons, allowing you to enjoy both the citrus aroma and the texture of lemon peel—offering a refreshing taste perfect for early summer.

Upon tasting, it proves just as refreshing as it looks. With its light texture, it’s easy to enjoy and disappears in no time.
The Setouchi lemon sauce on top has a viscosity similar to slightly watery grated yam (tororo). While its thick appearance might suggest it won’t drip easily, it actually falls off surprisingly quickly—defying expectations. Even the reporter had it drop onto the table twice. Caution is advised. The dessert is not available for takeout and is priced at 330 yen (tax included).

The “Matcha Cream Nyanmitsu” is a charming Japanese-style dessert featuring a cat-shaped castella cake filled with sweet red bean paste, paired with a rich matcha cream made from premium Uji matcha. Its colorful presentation adds a playful touch to the conveyor belt alongside the sushi.

Unlike matcha ice cream, the matcha portion in this dessert is a cream, which means it won’t melt easily—making it suitable for serving on the conveyor belt. While it offers a distinctly Japanese flavor, the sweetness is well-balanced, making it an ideal dessert to finish off a meal. Made with honey. Not available for takeout. Priced at 240 yen (tax included).
Please note that the “Setouchi Lemon Cake” and “Matcha Cream Nyanmitsu” will not be available at the Osaka Kansai Expo location. Both items will be offered only while supplies last, and prices may vary at select locations.
