On June 5, a new takeout specialty shop called “Bonchi Stand”, offering fruit rare cheesecakes, will open under the elevated tracks at Nakameguro Station in HVEN, Tokyo. We had the chance to visit the media-only launch event ahead of the official opening.

The shop offers stick-shaped cakes that combine rare cheesecake with fully ripe fresh fruits. At the sales counter, the cakes are displayed in a visually striking manner—each rare cheesecake is topped with a vibrant array of colorful fruits, creating a strong visual impact.
The shop is operated by Bonchi Inc., a startup based in Minami-Alps City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Specializing in fruit distribution—from production to retail and wholesale—Bonchi is also involved in handling fully ripe fruits that are often difficult to distribute through conventional markets. This background is reflected in their strong commitment to the quality and selection of fruits used in their products.

The shop offers a lineup of eight varieties of rare cheesecake bars, each made with seasonal fruits that reflect the flavors of Japan’s four seasons. The entire menu is supervised by Chef Angelo Cozzolino, owner of Babbo Angelo, a beloved Italian restaurant in Jiyugaoka with a 25-year history.
Upon tasting, the rare cheesecake bar reveals a remarkably soft texture, allowing the rich, fresh flavors of the fully ripe fruits to shine through. Light and easy on the stomach, the bars are perfect for enjoying as a casual snack—making them ideal for takeout.

The shop is located under the train tracks in Nakameguro and is larger in scale than one might expect from the images. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from Nakameguro Station.

Just inside the entrance to the right, you’ll find the cake counter. You can enjoy the treats while walking around, or take a seat in the nearby eat-in space. A selection of drinks is also available, and friendly staff add to the experience with light-hearted conversation.
It feels like this could become Nakameguro’s next go-to spot for sweets.
