Louis Robuchon, son of the late Joël Robuchon—known as the “Emperor of French Cuisine”—will open a new patisserie named Ecrin de Louis Robuchon inside Omotesando Station in Tokyo at 10 a.m. on July 25.
Here are three additional product images from the new patisserie Ecrin de Louis Robuchon“Ecrin” is a French word meaning “jewel box.” The small shop, measuring approximately 1.5 tsubo (around 5 square meters), will open in Echika Omotesando, right by the station ticket gates.

From opening until 3 p.m., the store will offer a limited-time item: “Chemin de Pureté” butter sandwich cookies (set of three), which are a popular item at the brand’s Ashiya flagship location. These vibrantly colored sweets are made without artificial coloring.
From 3 p.m. until closing time, the patisserie will switch to selling freshly baked “Chou Croquant” cream puffs, known for their satisfyingly crunchy texture.

Available throughout the day will be the “Tourteau Cheesecake,” a contemporary take on a traditional pastry from the Poitou region of France, where the Robuchon family originates. This cheesecake will be available starting in early August.

The “Crème Brûlée” is described as a dessert of memories, reimagined by Louis based on his childhood experiences with his father. It comes topped with a brown sugar crumble. Other staple offerings include buttery financiers and cookies, showcasing Louis Robuchon’s culinary philosophy.
Commenting on the opening, Louis said:
“I have expressed my father’s desire to ‘bring happiness to our guests’ in the simplest and most personal form. My signature color, orange, is inspired by the sunset over the Seine River that I once saw with my father as a child. Just like that warm light, I want this little jewel box to gently illuminate the everyday lives of those passing through the station. I hope each of these treats becomes a charm for someone’s heart.”
The new shop will be takeout-only and is expected to accept cashless payments exclusively.
